Trump attacks Google for prioritizing mainstream news outlets in search results

President Donald Trump on Tuesday attacked Alphabet unit GOOG, +1.73% Google for its ranking system, which he says prioritizes what he calls "fake news" -- that is, mainstream media -- over conservative outlets. "Google search results for 'Trump News' shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD," is likely one of the allegations in what ellipses denote used to be a two-tweet statement. Conservatives have continuously attacked Silicon Valley for what say is a suppression of right-wing perspectives, and former Trump strategist Steve Bannon has recommended the companies be treated like regulated utilities.
