China files complaint to WTO over U.S. tariffs: Reuters

China's Ministry of Commerce said on Monday it had filed a grievance to the World Trade Organization over the U.S.'s plans to slap tariffs on another $200 billion of Chinese imports, in keeping with Reuters. The grievance comes after the White House remaining week detailed a list of Chinese products that might be hit by way of 10% in import tariffs, together with hundreds of food products, purses, chemical substances, automobile tires, coal, steel and aluminium. Analysts fear that escalating tariffs could spark a world trade battle that might abate global financial growth.
