Stocks open mostly lower as investors fret over trade issues

U.S. shares opened mostly decrease on Thursday, as ongoing uncertainty surrounding business policy weighed on investor sentiment. The S&P 500 SPX, +0.05% used to be flat on the open at 2,700. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.26% fell 38 issues, or 0.2%, to 24,084. The Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +0.20% declined eight issues, or 0.1%, to 7,436 on the open. Among the largest losers at the S&P 500, stocks of Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc WBA, -10.65% and CVS Health Corp CVS, -9.34% dropped nearly 10% after AMZN, +0.90% introduced that it has agreed to procure PillPack, an online pharmacy that pre-sorts medicines into other doses and handles both refills and renewals.
